Vitamine C Ascorbate de calcium poudre

La vitamine C est une vitamine puissante, pourvue de propriétés anti-infectieuses, qui joue un grand rôle dans la fonction immunitaire. Elle est de toute première importance pour la formation du collagène, et contribue donc de façon importante à la guérison des plaies, la santé des gencives, la solidité des os et des dents, et la prévention des ecchymoses.

En tant qu'antioxydant puissant, elle protège les régions du corps chargées d'eau (sang et liquides intracellulaires et interstitiels) contre les radicaux libres. Parce qu'elle est hydrosoluble, la vitamine C ne peut être stockée par le corps, d'où la nécessité d'une supplémentation régulière.

Vitamine C Ascorbate de calcium de Natural Factors est une vitamine C au pH neutre, tamponnée avec du calcium. Elle diffère des autres formes de vitamine C parce qu'en tant que sel neutre, elle est non acide; elle est donc recommandée aux personnes qui présentent des symptômes gastro-intestinaux (douleur abdominale ou diarrhée) lorsqu'elles prennent de la vitamine C ordinaire, et peut être prise à des doses plus élevées pour raisons thérapeutiques sans provoquer de réactions gastro-intestinales indésirables.

Par ailleurs, l'ascorbate de calcium permet le remplacement du calcium excrété dans les urines en raison des propriétés de chélation de la vitamine C, et retient la vitamine C plus longtemps dans les cellules.
