Dosage

Recommended adult dose: Mix 1 scoop (31 g) 2 times daily in a glass of water or juice and take with food providing protein, a few hours before or after taking other medications, or as directed by a health care practitioner.
Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 12 weeks.

Caution

Do not use this product if you are allergic to shellfish. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are following a low protein diet, have gastrointestinal lesions/ulcers, nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, severe abdominal pain, liver or kidney disease, or kidney stones, if you are taking nitroglycerin, antibiotics, anticoagulant agents, or anti-inflammatory agents, are having surgery, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. If symptoms of digestive upset (e.g., diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g., AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment). Hypersensitivity/allergy has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use. Keep out of the reach of children.
